If you run a health or wellness business, you probably didn’t start it because you love marketing.
You started it because you care.
You care about helping people feel better.
You care about creating impact.
You care about doing meaningful work.
Marketing just happens to be the thing that allows people to find you.
And that’s exactly why I started YourMarketingM8.

Why I Started YourMarketingM8
A Decade in Marketing, A Personal Passion for Wellness
For well over a decade, I’ve worked in advertising, sales, media and marketing, all while pursuing a genuine passion for health and wellness in my personal life.
Through my own journey with nutrition, mindfulness and fitness, I came to appreciate just how powerful this space can be. Not just personally, but in the impact it has on people’s lives.
Over time, it became clear that this was the industry I wanted to focus my work on. I didn’t want to market anything and everything. I wanted to bring my marketing expertise to brands and businesses whose values genuinely correspond with my own.
That’s why I started YourMarketingM8.
To align my passion with my expertise. To bring the same level of care, clarity and enthusiasm to wellness brands that they bring to their clients.
Today, I help purpose-driven businesses show up with confidence, connect authentically with their audience, and grow sustainably, so they can focus on what they do best: helping others feel better.
What I Do, In Simple Terms
I provide marketing for health and wellness brands that want structure, clarity and sustainable growth.
That includes:
content marketing strategy
blog and SEO support
email marketing and nurture systems
conversion-led website design
structured monthly marketing plans
But more importantly, it includes guidance.
There’s a lot of noise in marketing right now.
Trends move quickly. Platforms shift. Advice contradicts itself.
Wellness founders do not need more noise.
They need structure.
YourMarketingM8 exists to provide marketing support for wellness businesses in a way that feels calm, strategic and aligned.
Who I’m Really For
YourMarketingM8 is built for:
Health and wellness coaches
Clinics and practitioners
Studios and instructors
Retreat hosts & spas
Wellness product brands
Purpose-driven businesses in the wellbeing space
Specifically, those who:
Care deeply about their clients
Want to grow ethically
Value long-term trust over quick wins
Understand that consistency beats intensity
Want marketing that feels aligned, not pushy
If you are building something meaningful and want your marketing to reflect that, we’ll likely get on well.
Who I’m Not For
Clarity is important.
I’m not for:
Businesses chasing overnight growth hacks
Brands looking for aggressive, fear-based marketing
Companies that prioritise volume over impact
Founders who want someone to “just post a few things” without strategy
Anyone who doesn't appreciate that marketing is "the long game"
Marketing works best when it is thoughtful and consistent.
If you are looking for quick tricks, I’m probably not your person.
If you are building something sustainable and want it done properly, that’s where I come in.
My Marketing Philosophy
Everything I do is grounded in three principles:
Strategic. Consistent. Distinct.
Strategic means every action has a purpose.
Consistent means we build momentum through repetition and clarity.
Distinct means your brand should sound like you, not like everyone else in your sector.
In the wellness industry especially, trust is earned over time. Marketing should reflect the integrity of the service being offered.
I believe marketing for health and wellness brands should be:
Clear, not confusing
Grounded, not exaggerated
Helpful, not manipulative
Sustainable, not chaotic
The goal is not to shout louder.
The goal is to build something steady.
Why Wellness Brands Need Sector-Specific Marketing Support
Marketing for a wellness business is different.
You are not selling impulse purchases. You are not marketing generic services.
You are working in a space that requires sensitivity, credibility and ethical responsibility.
That means:
Messaging must be accurate
Tone must be trustworthy
Structure must reduce hesitation
Content must educate, not just promote
Generalist marketing advice often misses this nuance.
YourMarketingM8 is built specifically around health and wellness marketing services because this sector deserves marketing that understands it properly.
