FAQs
1. About YourMarketingM8
Q: What does YourMarketingM8 actually do?
YourMarketingM8 provides strategic marketing support for health and wellness brands through three core services: content marketing, email marketing, and website design, underpinned by creative direction and clear strategy. Instead of offering one-off tactics, we focus on building marketing systems that help you grow with clarity, consistency, and confidence.
Q: Who do you work with?
We work with purpose-driven brands across the health and wellness space, including coaches, studios, clinics and practitioners, retreats, spas, and product-based wellness brands. If your core mission is to help others feel better, we’re likely a good fit.
Q: Where are you based, and do you only work with UK clients?
YourMarketingM8 is based in the UK, but we are set up to work remotely with clients in the UK and internationally. All meetings are held online, and projects are managed digitally, so location is rarely a limitation.
2. Services & Plans
Q: What services do you offer?
We currently offer three main services:
-
Website Design & Build – creating clear, conversion-focused websites tailored to your brand and audience.
-
Content Marketing Growth Plan – an ongoing content and email marketing subscription designed to build visibility, authority, and trust.
-
Premium Bespoke Marketing Plan – a fully tailored, high-touch marketing partnership for brands ready for a more comprehensive, strategic approach.
Q: I’m not sure which plan I need. Can you help me decide?
Yes. The purpose of the discovery call is not just for you to learn about us, but for us to understand your goals, current position, and internal capacity. We’ll recommend the plan (or combination of services) that makes the most sense for your stage of business and your priorities. If we don’t think a plan is right for you, we’ll say so.
Q: Do you offer one-off projects, or only ongoing plans?
Website design is typically a fixed-scope project with a clear start and finish. Content and strategic work are usually delivered as monthly subscriptions, as they rely on consistency over time to be effective. In some cases, we may agree to a one-off strategic or consulting engagement, but our main focus is on building ongoing, sustainable systems.
Q: Do you offer social media management as a standalone service?
No. We don’t offer social media management as a standalone service. Social media is most effective when it sits on top of a clear strategy, strong messaging, and a consistent content and email foundation. Because of this, social media support is only offered within our Premium Bespoke Marketing Plan, where it can be integrated into a broader, results-driven approach rather than treated as an isolated activity.
Q: What’s the difference between the Content Marketing Growth Plan and the Premium Bespoke Plan?
The Content Marketing Growth Plan focuses on building a strong content and email backbone for your brand: blogs, email campaigns, messaging support, and an overall content strategy.
The Premium Bespoke Plan goes further. It includes strategic planning, creative direction, campaign planning, website updates, and, where appropriate, social media support. It’s designed for brands that practically want to have an outsourced marketing department.
3. Process & Collaboration
Q: How does the process work if we decide to go ahead?
After an initial discovery call, we’ll recommend the most suitable service or plan. From there:
-
You’ll receive a proposal and outline of scope, along with a marketing questionnaire for completion + a brand assets request.
-
Once agreed and onboarding is complete, we begin with a strategy or foundations phase (for example, a deep-dive session and brand/website/content review).
-
We then move into implementation: content creation, website design, email & blog setup, or broader marketing activity, depending on your plan.
-
Each month we review performance, refine the approach, and agree on priorities so things stay aligned with your goals.
Q: How involved do I need to be in the process?
You don’t need to micromanage the work, but your input is important. You can expect to be involved in:
-
The initial strategy discussions
-
Approving core messaging and direction
-
Providing brand assets and any internal resources
-
Giving feedback on key deliverables (for example, website drafts or core content pieces)
Beyond that, our goal is to reduce the day-to-day marketing burden on you and your team.
Q: How do we communicate and manage projects?
Most communication is handled via email and scheduled calls. For ongoing work, we also use shared documents or a simple project management tool to keep everything organised and transparent. You’ll always know what we’re working on and what’s coming next.
4. Timelines, Pricing & Commitment
Q: How long does a typical website project take?
This depends on the scope and how quickly content and feedback are provided, but most standard websites are completed within 6–10 weeks. More complex builds, or those requiring new copy from scratch, may take longer. Clear timelines will be outlined in your proposal.
Q: Is there a minimum commitment for subscription plans?
Yes. For the Content Marketing Growth Plan and Premium Bespoke Plan, we generally ask for a minimum commitment (for example, 3–6 months), as it takes time to build momentum, gather data, and refine what works. Meaningful results in content and email marketing come from consistency, not quick fixes.
Q: How much do your services cost?
Pricing depends on scope, complexity, and the level of support needed. As a guide, our services are positioned as premium, reflecting the level of attention, strategy, and bespoke work involved. During the discovery call, we’ll discuss budgets transparently and advise on the most suitable options. If we don’t think we can deliver the value you need at your budget level, we’ll be honest about that.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
For website projects and larger engagements, we typically work with staged payments (for example, a deposit payment, and then a mid-project final payment). For subscriptions, fees are usually billed upfront monthly. We can discuss arrangements during the proposal stage.
5. Fit, Expectations & Outcomes
Q: What kind of results can I expect from working with you?
While we don’t promise overnight transformations or unrealistic numbers, you can expect:
-
Clearer, more consistent marketing
-
A stronger online presence and more professional brand experience
-
Better messaging and positioning
-
Improved content and communication with your audience
-
A more structured, less stressful approach to marketing
Metrics such as traffic, engagement, enquiries, and bookings will vary by client and sector, but we aim to build a marketing foundation that supports sustainable, long-term growth - not quick, fragile spikes.
Q: Are we a good fit to work together?
We’re usually a good fit if:
-
Your work genuinely helps people improve their health, wellbeing, or quality of life
-
You care about integrity, clarity, and long-term relationships
-
You value strategy and quality over quick hacks
-
You’re ready to invest time and resources into your marketing for more than just a month or two
We’re probably not a good fit if you’re looking for a cheap, short-term fix, or if you see marketing as something to “tick off” rather than a key part of your business.
Q: Can you help if I already have an internal team?
Yes. In some cases, we work alongside internal teams to provide strategy, creative direction, or specialist support (for example, website projects or content strategy). The exact shape of the collaboration will depend on your needs and existing capacity.
6. Practical & Technical
Q: Do you design websites on a specific platform?
Yes. We currently focus on building websites on Wix Studio, which we’ve chosen for its flexibility, scope of functionality, UX/visual quality, and ease of use for clients once the site is handed over. If you’re already on another platform, we can discuss the best way forward during a discovery call.
Q: Will I be able to update the website myself after it’s built?
In most cases, yes. Part of the handover includes giving you access to the editor and, where needed, basic guidance on how to update key sections (such as text, images, and blog posts). If you’d prefer us to manage ongoing updates, that can be included in a plan or separate agreement.
Q: Do you provide copywriting as well as design?
Yes. For most projects, we recommend handling both messaging and design, as they work best when developed together. For website projects and content marketing plans, copywriting is usually included in the scope.
Q: Do you handle paid ads (Google, Meta, etc.)?
Paid advertising can be included within the Premium Bespoke Plan when appropriate, but it is not the core focus of our standard Content Marketing Growth Plan. Our main emphasis is on building strong organic foundations through content, email, and a well-structured website. Ads, if used, should amplify a solid system rather than replace it.
